Terms of Service

Last updated: 21 June 2026 — clarified that App Store/Play Store purchase prices are set by Apple/Google and may differ by region from the GBP prices stated here, and updated the list of Apple Health / Google Health Connect data we read to the complete list of nine data types

1. Educational Purpose Only

These Terms of Service apply to your use of the 100 Great Years platform operated by 100 Great Years Ltd, including the app at app.100greatyears.com and the marketing site at www.100greatyears.com.

100 Great Years is an educational tool designed to help you think about your health and financial trajectory. It is not:

  • Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
  • Financial advice or investment recommendations
  • A substitute for professional consultation
  • A guarantee of any specific health or financial outcomes

2. Eligibility and Account Creation

You must be 18 or older to use 100 Great Years. By using the service you confirm that you are at least 18.

You can create an account with an email address and password, or by signing in with Google or Apple. These Terms apply equally regardless of which method you use. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Health Disclaimer

The health information provided is for general educational purposes only. Always seek the advice of your physician or qualified health provider with questions about a medical condition.

Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read here.

If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or emergency services immediately.

4. Financial Disclaimer

The financial information provided is for general educational purposes only. We are not financial advisers, and this service does not constitute financial advice.

Consider your personal circumstances and consult a qualified financial adviser before making investment decisions. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Investment values can go down as well as up, and you may get back less than you invested.

100 Great Years helps with debt management, spending and budgeting, investment analysis (insight, never recommendations), financial education, and financial modelling and projections. It does not provide regulated financial advice or manage your money. Where a question needs a regulated adviser, we will say so.

5. No Guarantees

We make no guarantees about achieving specific health outcomes, financial returns, or living to any particular age. Individual results vary significantly based on personal circumstances, genetics, environment, and many other factors beyond our control.

6. AI-Generated Content

Recommendations are generated using artificial intelligence (AI) technology. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or may not be appropriate for your specific situation.

Always verify important information with qualified professionals before taking action.

7. Use at Your Own Risk

By using this service, you acknowledge that you use it at your own risk and agree to hold 100 Great Years Ltd, its directors, employees, and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of this service or actions taken based on information provided.

8. Accuracy of Information

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we make no representations or warranties about the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any information provided. Information may become outdated or may not apply to your specific jurisdiction.

9. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when using the assessment
  • Use the service only for lawful purposes
  • Not attempt to circumvent security measures
  • Not misrepresent yourself or provide false information
  • Seek professional advice before making important health or financial decisions

10. Intellectual Property

All content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of 100 Great Years Ltd and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 100 Great Years Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Our total liability shall not exceed £100 or the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have mandatory consumer protection rights under your local law.

15. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

16. Payments, Subscriptions, Cancellations and Refunds

Pricing and billing

100 Great Years offers paid subscription plans in addition to a free tier:

  • Monthly — £10 per month, billed each calendar month.
  • Annual — £96 per year, billed once annually (equivalent to £8/month).

We also offer a one-off purchase outside the subscription plans:

  • AI Insights Report — £9, a single one-off purchase (not a subscription) generated from your data at the time of purchase.

The prices above are stated in pounds sterling and apply to purchases made directly through our website, processed securely by Stripe, Inc. on our behalf. By subscribing or making a one-off purchase via our website you authorise Stripe to charge your nominated payment method on the agreed billing cycle, or once for one-off purchases.

If you subscribe or purchase through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android, when available), the price you pay is set by Apple or Google for your local storefront and may differ from the GBP price above due to currency conversion, local taxes, or regional pricing. Apple or Google processes that payment directly — we never see or store your card details.

Auto-renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel before the renewal date. For website subscriptions, you will receive a reminder from Stripe before any price increase takes effect (see "Price changes" below); for App Store or Play Store subscriptions, Apple or Google handles renewal and price-change notices according to their own policies.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time via Profile → Plan & Billing → Manage subscription in the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you retain full Premium access until that date. No further charges are made after cancellation.

14-day cooling-off right

Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you ordinarily have a 14-day right to cancel a digital-services contract from the date of purchase.

By completing your purchase and accessing Premium features you acknowledge that the digital service has begun and you expressly request that it starts immediately. You understand that your 14-day statutory right to cancel is therefore waived once you have accessed the Premium service.

If you have purchased a subscription and have not accessed any Premium features, you may still exercise your 14-day cancellation right and receive a full refund by contacting us at hello@100greatyears.com within 14 days of purchase.

Refunds

Outside the statutory cooling-off period, subscription payments are non-refundable and we do not issue pro-rated refunds for unused time within a billing period. Exceptions may apply where required by applicable law or where the service has not been delivered as described due to an error on our part.

One-off purchases (for example, AI Insights Reports) are non-refundable once the report has been generated and delivered to you. If a report fails to generate due to a technical error on our part, we will either re-generate it or issue a full refund.

Price changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price increase before your next renewal date, communicated by email to the address registered to your account. If you do not wish to pay the new price, you may cancel your subscription before the renewal date with no additional charge.

17. AI Features and Service Availability

100 Great Years provides AI-powered features, including the AI Coach, as part of its service. By using these features you acknowledge the following:

  • Reliance on third-party AI providers. Our AI features are powered by third-party artificial intelligence providers (currently Anthropic, PBC). We do not control their infrastructure, availability, or pricing, and we accept no liability for any interruption, delay, or degradation of AI features caused by third-party provider outages or changes to their services.
  • No guarantee of uninterrupted availability. We aim to provide continuous access to AI features but cannot guarantee uptime. Scheduled maintenance, provider downtime, and unexpected technical issues may temporarily affect availability. These events do not entitle you to a refund or service credit except where required by applicable law.
  • Message and usage limits. Free trial accounts are limited to 30 AI Coach messages during the trial period. Paid subscribers currently receive AI Coach access without a defined message cap; however, we reserve the right to introduce fair-use limits, adjust message allowances, or modify AI feature availability with not less than 30 days' notice, except where changes are imposed by our providers without notice to us. We will communicate any material changes to paid subscribers by email.
  • Changes to AI models and capabilities. The underlying AI models and the nature of AI-generated responses may change over time as providers update their technology. We do not guarantee that AI outputs will remain consistent in style, scope, or quality. AI Coach responses are informational only and do not constitute professional medical, financial, or legal advice.

18. Health App Integrations (Apple Health / Google Health Connect)

The 100 Great Years iOS and Android apps can optionally read health data from Apple Health (HealthKit) and Google Health Connect to populate your Sleep, Cardio, Strength, and Weight & Body Composition trackers and to calculate your health scores.

Specifically, with your permission, we read:

  • Body fat percentage
  • Cardio fitness (VO2 max)
  • Heart rate
  • Heart rate variability
  • Height
  • Sleep analysis
  • Waist circumference (iOS only)
  • Weight
  • Workouts (type, duration, distance)

We do not write data back to Apple Health or Google Health Connect.

Health data read from Apple Health or Google Health Connect is used solely to provide and improve the 100 Great Years service for you. We do not sell this data, and we do not use it for advertising, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to your health and wealth tracking.

Connection is opt-in. You can disconnect at any time via Profile → Devices & Apps → Health Connections, or by revoking permission in the iOS Health app or Android Health Connect settings. Disconnecting stops further syncing but does not delete data already imported into your account.

Where the same date has both a manually entered value and a value synced from a connected health app, your manual entry takes precedence. For details on how this data is stored and protected, see our Privacy Policy.
